LAHORE - Thieves took away a diamond necklace worth Rs3 million from the Gulberg residence of actress and film-star Babra Sharif.
Babra on Monday appealed to the senior police officers to help recover her stolen necklace worth Rs 3 million (USD 29,000).
According to the complainant, a diamond necklace was stolen from her MM Alam Road, Gulberg residence. On her complaint, the police registered a case against her maid servant and her accomplice. The police arrested the suspects but later released them instead of recovering the stolen necklace. The actress has appealed to the top police officers to take notice of the faulty investigations and help recover the necklace.
