LAHORE - Jamaat-e-Islami chief Syed Munawar Hasan has appealed to the patriotic and honorable people of Lahore to participate in in large numbers in the JI sit-in in the city today (Sunday). In a statement here on Saturday, he expressed the hope that the Sunday rally would change the political course in the country. All those who wanted to get rid of the US slaves and corrupt and incompetent rulers would surely attend the rally, he said. The JI sit-in being held at Ferozepur Road, Ichrra More, would also be attended by women and children.
He said, the JI has launched a campaign against the US interference in the country, for the protection of the independence and sovereignty of the country and for eliminating corruption  in the motherland.
