Uplift of masses govt's top priority: CM

LAHORE Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that uplift of the masses is the top most agenda of the government for which it has embarked upon unprecedented pro-jects and schemes spending billions of rupees. While talking to the MPAs from various districts who called on him at Chief Ministers Secretariat here on Saturday, the CM said millions of poor people of the province were benefiting from welfare programmes like Sasti Roti Scheme and Sasti Roti Dasterkhawns. The members informed the CM about the ongoing development activities, welfare programmes and masses problems of their respective areas. He stressed upon assembly members to ensure quality and timely completion of development projects and use all their energies to solve problems of the people. The MPAs included Sahi-bzada Syed Murtaza Amin, Sheikh Mumtaz Ahmad, Jamil Ashraf, Malik Zahoor Anwar, Haji Yaqub Sheikh and Major (r) Zulfiqar Ali Gondal.
