JI expresses concern over Karachi unrest

OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE Acting ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Dr Muhammad Kamal has expressed concerns over the bloodletting going on in Karachi, saying the Sindh government had completely failed to protect its citizens. In a statement issued here on Sunday, he said the killers were freely roaming about in the port city, the innocent citizens were being mowed down. The JI acting chief said the electronic media was repeatedly showing scenes where the criminal were openly firing in the presence of the Police and it remained a silent spectator.
