OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE Unidentified motorcyclists shot dead a 45-year-old trader at his doorstep here in Wahdat Colony police area on Monday, police said. Resident of Chowk Shah Kamal, Muhammad Saleem, was present alone at his house when three men riding on a motorcycle appeared there and knocked the door, according to police investigators. As Saleem opened the door, the motorcyclist, yet to be identified so far, opened straight fire at him and fled away from the crime scene. The man, said to be a mobile phone trader, sustained multiple bullet wounds and died on the spot. The police have removed the body to the morgue for an autopsy. The police have also registered the case against unidentified killers and are investigating with no arrest made so far.
