GCU produces 3 PhDs

OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE - The Government College University has produced two doctors of philosophy in zoology and one in Mathematics. Mr Atif Yaqub and Zahid Iqbal Hussain have been notified as PhDs in zoology after the approval of their theses on the topics of Biosorptive Potential and Binding Sites of Heavy Metals on the Cell Wall of Selected Filamentous Algea and Some Studies on Bio-Ecology of Pheasant Tailed Jacana, Hydrophasianus Chirurgus in Punjab, Pakistan respectively. Likewise, Muhammad Imran Qureshi completed his research on the topic of Computing the Stanley Depth under the supervision of noted mathematician Dr Dorin Popescu. On completion of their PhD programmes, GCU Vice-Chancellor Dr Ikramul Haq congratulated the scholars.
