LAHORE - Ten people were wounded when two political groups resorted to gunfire in Chungi Amarsidhu on Saturday evening.
The injured were shifted to the Jinnah hospital where the condition of two of them was said to be serious.
The police have registered a case and are investigating with no arrest made yet.
Investigators said that two political groups clashed with each other when they were waiting for results outside a polling station after the voting for Cantonment Boards ended. As a result, ten people sustained bullet injuries and were admitted to hospital.
Both sides used automatic weapons, police said.
