LAHORE Editor-in-Chief TheNation and Chairman Nazria Pakistan Trust Majid Nizami has urged the teachers to play their role in making youth patriotic and brave Pakistani.
He stressed the need for ideological training of the students along with their general education.
NPT Chairman expressed these views while addressing the Ideological Training Workshop of teachers at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan here on Friday.
NPT and Punjab Education Department jointly organised the workshop.
Majid Nizami told the teachers that NPT management had requested the Punjab government for the teachers training, because, he added the teachers must be informed the purpose behind the creation of Pakistan.
Despite the prevailing inflation, unemployment and other crises, I believe the freedom is a great gift, he said adding we could get rid of the hard days if we find the patriotic rulers.
The veteran journalist believed the people of Pakistan could confront the Indian conspiracies against us with the power of faith.
He reiterated India, Israel and America were conspiring against the atomic Pakistan, but the troika would fail in their nefarious designs, he vowed.
Majid Nizami advised the teachers to inform the students about the Pakistan Movement history.
He told them that he pledged not to visit India till the Independence of Kashmir.
India has not only occupied the jugular vein of Pakistan but also building dams at our rivers and wanted to turn our country into desert, he told the teachers.
Earlier, Vice-Chairman NPT Prof Dr Rafique Ahmad told the teachers that former Punjab chief minister late Ghulam Haider Wyne had laid the foundation stone of NPT.
He said the Trust activities were multidimensional.
He said we should proud on our traditions and ideology.
He said the teachers are the asset of the country.
He lauded the efforts of Majid Nizami.
Prof Muzaffar Mirza delivered a multimedia lecture on Two-Nation Theory.
students visit Aiwan: The students of the Unique Solutions School Taj Bagh on Friday visited the Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan and saw Pakistan Movement Gallery.
A ceremony was organised to inform the students about Pakistan Ideology which was addressed by the schoolteacher Mrs Noreen Zainab.
Meanwhile, Nazria Pakistan Trusts Mobile Ideological Unit 1, 2, 3, and 4 led by their coordinators Prof Saeed Shaikh, Abdus Salam, Nadeem Raza and Naeem Aslam visited Quaid Comset College Wahdat Road, City District Government Boys High School Rehmanpura, Al-Zuhra Grammar High School Tajpura and Government Primary School Shahdara respectively.
Prof Sajjad Haider, Tariq Ahmad, Abid Hussain and Kabir Ahmad addressed the ceremonies held at above said institutions.
The students were awarded prizes in quiz competitions and over correct recitation of Allama Iqbals verses.
Sets of books were given to schools libraries.
