LAHORE – The Central Jamiat-e-Ahle Hadith will participate in the All Parties Conference (APC) organised by JUI-F on February 28 in Islamabad.
The decision was made after JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman invited Central Jamiat-e-Ahle Hadith Chief Prof Sajid Mir by telephone. According to a press release, Prof Sajid Mir accepted Fazl’s invitation and the both leaders agreed upon the unity of religious parties for betterment of the country and stability of democracy.  Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman said that the APC would prove a milestone to keep the democracy on its path. He said the forces, who wanted to delay in polls, were disappointed. “We believe in ballot, not in bullet. The change will come only by ballot,” he said. Prof Sajid Mir said terrorist activities ahead of elections were part of conspiracy and the religious and political forces had to get united to defeat them.
