LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Tuesday summoned on March 11, federal ministry for Information and Technology Anusha Rehman on an application for lifting ban on YouTube and other websites on internet. A division bench headed by Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah was hearing the case. Bytes for All, a non-profit NGO, filed the suit and submitted that ban on YouTube and other websites on internet was tantamount to the violation of fundamental rights of citizens.The petitioners requested the court to direct authorities concerned to lift ban on YouTube.
