Namaz-e-Janaza of the 4 martyrs of police, in bomb explosion during Hazrat Imam Hussain(R.A.)s Chehlum, was offered here at Police Line Fort Gujar Singh on Wednesday. As per media reports, the Janaza prayers of the four policemen have been offered in Lahore who embraced Shahadat, in a bomb explosion, during Hazrat Imam Hussain(R.A.)s Chehlum on Tuesday. CM Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif , Governor Punjab Latif Khosa and several high officials including IG attended the Namaz-e-Janaza. Talking to the media after Janaza prayers, CM Punjab has praised the bravery and valor of the deceased policemen who saved hundreds by sacrificing their lives. He saluted their obligatory compliance. Additionally, martyred policemens families would be given 3 million each and government would be responsible for the educational and other expenses of their children. The investigations regarding bomb explosion are underway, he added. IG Punjab Javed Iqbal talking to reporters said that a three member enquiry committee has been set up under the supervision of CCPO Lahore. However so far no arrests have been made. He said that the body parts of the bomber have been sent for a DNA test but he is believed to be a teenager of 14 year old.
