Restoration of law, order top priority: Nawaz
 
 
 

President, PML-N, Nawaz Sharif has said that if our party came into power in the forthcoming general elections then restoration of law and order, all over the country, including Karachi would be the top agenda.
Nawaz Sharif expressed these views while talking to leaders of PML-N Sindh at Raiwind on Saturday.
He directed the party leaders regarding making preparation of forthcoming general elections, keeping close liaison with the people, making consultation and contacts to forge alliance with the other political parties.
A plan would be chalked out in consonance with all peace-loving parties and the people, to rid Karachi of lawlessness and crimes, in order to make Karachi again a city of lights, he said.
The PML-N Chief said, “If Karachi will be peaceful, it will benefit all Pakistan. He said, if the wheel of the economy moves in Karachi, its positive impact would be felt by the people throughout the country”. Adding, he said in order to restore law and order in Karachi, there is a dire need for re-organization of police and to rid it of political pressure.
On the occasion, leaders of PML-N Sindh said that there is a need for correction of voter lists of Karachi, upon which Muhammad Nawaz Sharif directed President PML-N Sindh Syed Ghaus Ali Shah to take immediate notice of the matter.
Nawaz Sharif said, like the federation and the other provinces, Peoples Party have made the people of Sindh despondent, but the people would make PPP dejected in the forthcoming general elections. Meanwhile, the leadership of PML-N Sindh has initiated the work of chalking out programme of public meetings of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in Sindh.
The consultative meeting was also attended by Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Ch. Nisar Ali Khan, Ghaus Ali Shah, Liaqat Jatoi, Saleem Zia, Mushahid Ullah Khan, Ameer Bakhsh Bhutto, Imdad Chandio, Nihal Hashmi, Marvi Memon, Irfan Ullah Marwat and Zain Ansari.
