LAHORE - The Punjab government has announced new office working timings during Ramazan. As per notification issued by the S&GAD Welfare Wing, all government offices including the Civil Secretariat that work for five days a week will remain open from 8am to 2pm and on Friday the timing will be from 8am to 1 pm. Those office which work six days as week will remain open from 8am to 1pm while on Friday the timing will be 8am to 12pm.
Meanwhile, Railways administration changed the timing of reservation offices and city booking agencies during the holy month of Ramazan.
The offices would remain open from 8am to 6pm on daily basis from first of Ramazan to 19th while the old timing would restore from 20th Ramazan.
Meanwhile, Railways is starting shuttle service between Attock and Jand from June 27. The train would leave Attock at 11am and reach Jand Station at 12.20pm. The fare has been set Rs90. State minister for parliamentary affairs Sheikh Aftab would inaugurate the service on Friday (tomorrow).
