LAHORE - .An Additional District and Sessions judge on Wednesday issued notice to Old Anarkali Police Station House Officer to submit reply on a petition seeking registration of cases against PTI Chairman Imran Khan and Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi for delivering their speech to create unrest and anarchy in the country.Advocate Kashif Sulemani, a lawyer-petitioner, filed the petition and alleged that Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi were giving statements which is leading the country to chaos and unrest. He alleged that both of the leaders were provoking the people to come out in the streets and take the law into their own hands which was legally unjustified. He prayed to the court to direct police to register FIRs against both the leaders under Anti-Terrorism Act for provoking youth and new generation against the State. After hearing the initial arguments, Additional District and Sessions Judge Ghaffar Mahtab issued notices to Old Anarkali police station and sought reply for Thursday (today).This news was published in The Nation newspaper.
