LAHORE - Severe loadshedding further added to the miseries of PIA passengers as its reservation system’s link went down across the Punjab, said a reservation officer of PIA seeking anonymity on Sunday.
He said that inconvenience started at around 1:40 pm when after long power outages, the generator of PIA Town Office also developed fault due to which main server of PIA’s reservation office system went out of service.
That’s why no ticket could be issued by 5:00 pm nor could any seat be confirmed for any passenger.
A passenger seeking anonymity said that he was travelling from Lahore to Karachi along with his family but he was asked to visit Lahore Airport Ticket office to get his seats confirmed because no other reservation office in Punjab was in working position.
After 5:00 pm reservation system was revived and reservation office started its working.
