LAHORE - PTI local leader Zaheer Abbas Khokhar on Friday rejected news reports about developing any political understanding with the PML-N and clarified that he met with the Punjab chief minister on May 24 being the provincial representative of a Chinese company.
Addressing a press conference at the party office, he maintained that he had no plan to join the PML-N while he met Shahbaz Sharif with the visiting Chinese company delegation to whom he represents in the Punjab. He added that a group of his business colleagues was witness to the meeting in which there was no political talk. Zaheer claimed that he would remain with Imran Khan through thick and thin and always practice politics from the platform of the PTI.
Reports regarding Zaheer Abbas’s political understanding with the PML-N was the second incident after similar reports about two other PTI local leaders Abdul Rasheed Bhatti and Mansha Sindhu of reaching some kind of political understanding with the PML-Q.
