A 75-year-old man, yet to be identified, was recovered the limits of Data Darbar police. Investigators said that the old man was lying dead on the footpath as they reached the spot. Some passersby spotted the body and contacted the police. The police investigators say they believe the old man died of heat exhaustion.
Meanwhile, the police also recovered the body of a woman from the Bund Road. Police claimed that the woman, unidentified so far, died of scorching heat. The body was shifted to mortuary. Further investigation is underway.
