LAHORE - Terming his alleged involvement in supposed murder case of LHC chief justice as conspiracy by PML-N leaders, PPPs Punjab Secretary Information Dr Fakhruddin Ch said on Monday that he could not even think of murdering Khawaja Muhammad Sharif who was a respected judge.
Talking to the media after recording his statement before the FIA inquiry committee at agencys Temple Road office along with Principal Secretary to Governor, Ahmad Nawaz Sukhera, the PPP leader alleged that Punjab Law Minister Rana Sana Ullah and Hamza Shahbaz Sharif had hatched a conspiracy to involve him and other party leaders in so-called murder case to malign PPP leadership.
Both these PML-N leaders had also used Secretary Prosecution, Rana Maqbool to get a fake report prepared for the purpose, he further alleged.
The PPP secretary information said Hamza was a novice in politics and hence lacked knowledge about rules of the game.
Fakhar asked him to desist from issuing irresponsible statements against President Asif Zardari.
The young Sharif had termed Zardari a suicide bomber in a recent statement.
He reminded Hamza that it was President Zardari who consoled his uncle and father when they happened to be in jail together during Musharrafs rule.
He said Asif Zardari remained in jail for 11 years but did not victimise any one after assuming power.
Dr Fakhar said his party held all institutions in high esteem, and he would appear before them whenever called upon to do so.
