LAHORE - Punjab Governor Ch Muhammad Sarwar called on JUI-F Amir Maulana Fazlur Rahman on Saturday and inquired about his wellbeing following a suicide attack on the route of his caravan in Quetta Friday.
Both the leaders also shared views on the political situation in the country. The governor condemned the suicide hit near the venue of Maulana Mufti Mahmood Conference in Quetta and offered fateha for those who lost their lives in the incident.
The governor said the whole nation was determined to root out terrorism in the country. In the ongoing fight against militants, all political parties and people from different schools of thought were behind the armed forces in their operation in the tribal areas. He said Pakistani nation had strong nerves and could be defeated under no circumstances.
