LAHORE - The Mobo International Intermedia Cup will start from tonight here at the Wahdat Colony ground and the final will be held on September 3. In all 36 teams from all the electronic and print media are taking part in the event which is being played on single league knock out basis. Addressing a press conference CEO of Mobo International Babar Mahmood informed that the winner team will get RS 50,000 while the runner-up will be awarded Rs 25,000. He said that besides the best players of the event, prizes will be given for best coverage and best reporter and cameraman will be given award. The tournament chief organiser said that the matches will start at 9 pm and conclude at 1.30 am and daily four matches of six-overs-a-side will be played. Technical committee official informed that only media persons will be allowed to take part in the event.
