LAHORE - A man stormed the house of his girlfriend stabbed the girl, her sister and mother, police said on Wednesday. Ghulam Fatima, 55, and her daughter, Farzana, 25, succumbed on the spot while the ‘sweetheart’ of the attacker is being treated in the Jinnah hospital. Resident of Pattoki, Amjad Ali, forced his entry into the house of Shahida Bibi, in the Green Town (No 5-C-II) area on early Wednesday. During verbal clash Amjad got infuriated, took out a table knife, and stabbed Shahida, her mother and elder sister. The family told the police investigators the killer chased down the woman and her daughters and stabbed them multiple times before fleeing. The police reached the spot and removed the bodies to the morgue for autopsy. Shahida was admitted to the Jinnah hospital in serious condition. A case has been registered against the accused on the charges of double-murder and attempt to murder. “Amjad wanted to tie his knot with the woman since he had developed love-affair with her,” replied Nadeem, the duty-officer at the Green Town police station, when contacted. Police said that the family had rejected his marriage proposal and stopped the man from visiting their house. The man carried out the deadly assault in revenge, said the cops, adding that the lawmen had launched a hunt for the killer. KilledA 14-year-old boy was crushed to death by a rashly-driven car in the Gujjarpura area. Police said on Wednesday that the boy, identified as Ghiyas Ullah, was crossing the road near Karol Ghatti when a car ran over him, resulting in his on-the-spot death.
