JUI-F warns of blocking Nato supply by force

LAHORE – JUI-F Punjab chapter leadership has warned the government of stopping the NATO supplies at Kot Sabzal and Taunsa Sharif by force if it makes any effort to reopen the supply line through the parliament.
Ameer JUI-F Punjab Maulana Rasheed Ahmed Ludhanvi, expressed these views while addressing a press conference along with other provincial leaders here on Monday. He said that JUI-F would start a mass contact movement from the ‘Islam Zindabad Conference’ at Sargodha on April 15.  While stating that the country was passing through the most crucial times, he warned that the long hours of unscheduled load shedding were taking into its folds a huge storm of unemployment. He added that continuous increase in petroleum prices tripled the cost of a common man’s daily life.
JUI-F leader said that Pak-Iran gas line was in the interest of the country and it should be pursued, while there was no reason for the US to react over a project of Pakistan’s national interest. He alleged that the distribution of laptops by Punjab government was in fact part of its political campaign.
He also claimed that PTI chief’s criticism of JUI-F head was an effort by Imran Khan to appease his foreign masters.
He said that fixing the responsibility of the Salala check post on Pak Army by the US was a highly shameful act.
Kasuri against resto-
ration: Senior PTI leader, Khursheed Mehmood Kasuri has warned the government of serious repercussions if it makes any effort to reopen the NATO supply line without keeping in view the popular sentiment. He expressed these views while talking to the media after inaugurating the PTI sports and culture wing in the provincial capital on Monday.
Kasuri said that Memogate was a serious issue and the people of Pakistan wanted to know the hard facts in this regard.
He stated that PTI would launch a solo drive against load shedding, price-hike and unemployment without the support from any other political party.
