LAHORE - Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre arranged a ceremony on Monday in connection with World No Tobacco Day to be observed across the globe on May 31. Renowned cricketer Shahid Khan Afridi was the chief guest at the ceremony largely participated by students from various educational institutions. SKMCH&RC had arranged a poster competition among students to convey the message of hazards of smoking. Appreciating role of SKMCH&RC in creating public awareness regarding hazards of smoking, Shahid Khan Afridi urged parents to inform kids regarding health hazards of smoking.
