Motorway IG for parents’ part in putting youth on right path

LAHORE - Parents and teachers should play their role in training of youth. Media should move in right direction and should promote our own values instead of spreading western culture, said Inspector General National Highways & Motorway Police Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema while addressing teachers and students of University of Central Punjab, Lahore.
The event was attended by Pro-Rector University of Central Punjab Dr Zafarullah, Dean of Social Faculty Dr Fehmida Sultan, SSP Motorway Police Athar Waheed, Professor Tahir Ashfaq and a large number of students.
Cheema imparted useful road safety tips to the students. He said that it is imperative upon the students to respect their parents, teachers and obey the law of the country.  The IG further said that the students should love their country and abhor corruption. IG advised them to fasten seat belt, not to listen mobile phone and don’t cross speed limit while driving on the road. The IG further said that our doctors are best professionals in the world and this fact is acknowledged by many countries of the world.
