Twenty new dengue fever patients have been admitted to different teaching hospitals of the city during the last 24 hours, whereas 24 patients have been discharged and 57 patients are currently under treatment. According to a handout issued by the Punjab Health Department on Wednesday, a Health Department spokesman said nine new patients were admitted to the Mayo Hospital, four were discharged and 30 dengue fever patients were being treated. Five new patients were admitted to the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, eight were sent home and 13 were under treatment. In the Jinnah Hospital, three new patients were admitted, 10 were discharged and nine patients were under treatment. No dengue fever patient was under treatment in the Lahore General Hospital and the Children Hospital. The total number of dengue patients who were receiving treatment in the hospitals reduced and only 57 patients were under treatment in four teaching hospitals while 64 patients found to be dengue virus positive in the OPD of IPH Laboratory, Lahore
