Govt’s Qadri grills PTI again

LAHORE - Giving his stance on the forthcoming PTI protest, Punjab government’s spokesman Zaeem Qadri has said that the constitution does not permit a protest which is held in the violation of law of the land and prescribed rules.

“If their protest of November 30 is under the constitution and law, it will be permitted,” the spokesperson stated on Wednesday. He said that no political party, other than PTI, was talking about ransacking and declaring the parliament as den of thieves and dacoits.
Qadri said that Imran Khan did not level the allegations of rigging after 2002 elections but only raising hue and cry regarding last general elections.
“There is a huge disparity in his accusations,” he added.

He argued that Imran Khan had talked of having proofs of rigging but never came up with the same. “Why doesn’t he present the proofs, if he claims to have any, to the Election Commission Pakistan,” he questioned.
