LAHORE-The PPP's Punjab executive committee which met here on Friday with Rana Aftab in the chair, decided to hold public rallies at the district and tehsil levels to register protest against PML-N workers' attitude who were destroying Shaheed BB's monuments and posters of other party leaders in different cities. The first rally will be taken out in Lahore on Saturday (today) under the aegis of party's labour bureau. It will start from Lahore Airport and culminate at Punjab Assembly. The PPP's Lahore organisation will also plan a rally in the coming days. The meeting also passed a resolution ratifying imposition of Governor's Rule in Punjab. The step has been taken to fill constitutional vacuum, as there was no other option left after disqualification of Punjab chief minister, the resolution further said.
