Qadri given honour in India

LAHORE –Dr Tahirul Qadri, Chief of the Pakistani Awami Tehreek, on Monday has said that Islam is a religion of peace and harmony that cannot produce a terrorist or an extremist. Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was sent as a blessing who bestowed rights to all irrespective of race, colour or creed. He expressed these views while addressing a public gathering in Kurjan city of Indian Gujarat. The government of India gave protocol of a state guest to the noted scholar. He said that the land of India was rich of Sufis including Khawja Ajmer, Khawja Bakhtiar Kaki, Nizamuddin Aulia, Hazrat Mujaddid Alif Sani and many others. In his address Qadri said that peace rested in love .
