Female ASF guards passing-out parade held

LAHORE The passing out parade of 452 recruits of 42nd Basic Aviation Security Course and 1st ANF Basic Lady Constable Course was held on Wednesday at ASF Academy Karachi, said ASF spokesman. PIA Managing Director Nadeem Khan Yousafzai was the chief guest who reviewed the passing out parade and witnessed demonstration of male and female members of air guards at the occasion. He appreciated the parade/skills and techniques demonstrated by ASF and assured the nation that the training of these new inductees in ASF will definitely enhance the standard of Aviation Security in Pakistan. He expressed his satisfaction and praised ASF that it has earned a good name, not only in its profession but in its training standards also. He added that the country is facing terrorism and ASF would have to be more vigilant and alert to timely thwart against any threatening situation. He further added that the safer airports in Pakistan will build a better image for attraction of foreign investment, tourism and business travel. At the occasion he also announced sub low tickets for ASF hard area troops, provision of household items available at PIA Utility Store on concessional rates at par with PIA employees and Rs 500,000 for the welfare of ASF troops. At the end Director General ASF Brigadier Muhammad Azam expressed gratitude and assured on the behalf of ASF that we will perform our duty with full commitment and enthusiasm.
