Pak silence over Indian water aggression flayed

LAHORE - Leader of banned outfit Jamat-ul-Dahwa Hafiz Abdul-ur-Rahman Makki has condemned the statement of Indus Water Commissioner Jamat Ali Shah that India was not stealing Pakistani rivers water. In a statement on Sunday, he said it was regrettable that our rulers have not raised the water issue in dialogue with Indian Foreign Secretary. He said owing to statements like that of Jamat Ali Shah, our rulers were strengthening Indian stance on the water issue. He said millions of acres of agricultural land would turn into desert if Indian water aggression was not stopped. Hafiz Saif Ullah said that Pakistani nation and farmers were disappointed on the statement of Jamat Ali Shah. He said that India wanted to complete its projects at our rivers by involving our leaders in dialogues.
