LAHORE – During its ongoing drive against illegal housing schemes, staff of the Metropolitan Planning Wing of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) demolished the entrance gates and sealed site offices of three housing schemes along Ferozepur Road on Wednesday.
The LDA staff demolished the gate of Al-Hassan Gardens and Al-Rehan Gardens, situated at Ferozepur Road in Kahana, they also sealed site office of Rehan Gardens. Site office of Anwer Town on Katcha Road was also sealed. This action has been taken for the awareness of general public so that they will not purchase any illegal plot or house in these schemes.
LDA has advised people to ascertain the legal status of a housing scheme or a plot before making any transaction. Details of approved private schemes can be obtained from counter No-3 of LDA’s One Window Cell in their Johar Town office.
Plans of all approved private housing schemes have been uploaded on LDA’s website www.lda.gop.pk for general public information.
