PU organises funfair

LAHORE - Punjab University Centre for Clinical Psychology organised annual sports day and funfair here on Tuesday.
Member Syndicate Shumaila Gull was chief guest on inaugural session while Department of Center for Clinical Psychology Director Prof Dr Rukhsana Kausar, faculty members and a large number of students were also present on the occasion.
Shumaila Gull said with curricular and co-curricular activities, extra curricular activities were also vital for mental and physical grooming and training of the students. She said department was working well for the welfare of special students which would be helpful to make them good citizens for the country. She appreciated efforts of director, faculty members and students to organize a successful ceremony.
Some food, jewellery and other stalls were also set up by the students. Dr Rukhsana, Dr Nashi Khan and Dr Aysha visited the stalls and appreciated the work of the students.
Karate students displayed special performance. Various sports competitions including cricket, badminton race, throw ball, musical chair, spoon race, three legged race, singing competition, blow the balloons and tug-of-war were held in the event. In the concluding ceremony, Additional Director Sports Shamsa Hashmir distributed prizes and certificates among the winning teams and students.
PU declares results: Punjab University Examinations Department has declared the results Master of Human Resource Management (Evening) Semester System Session 2009-11 and BSc Biostatics (Self Supporting Program) Semester System Session 2009-11; detailed results are also available at PU website www.pu.edu.pk.
