LAHORE - Reacting against the backdrop of the infighting among the party ranks, PTI leaders have stressed upon the party leaders and workers for forging unity for the betterment of the party and facing future political challenges.
Addressing a party function on Wednesday, PTI Punjab coordinator Chaudhary Sarwar requested the party workers to forget differences and forge unity for the betterment of the party.
He added that PTI chairman Imran Khan gave him the task to strengthen the party at grass root level and this was possible only with unity among the party ranks.
Sarwar said that it was his top priority to make the party organisation more effective through improving its image across the province.
He stressed upon the party leaders and workers to make Lahore as the strongest base of the party because the provincial capital has a strong political symbolic value which is vital for the party.
Meanwhile, PTI senior leader Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed stressed upon the party leaders and workers for forging unity among their ranks to face the future political challenges.
Addressing party leaders at his private office, he said that the party is in much need of unity among its ranks to face the future challenges, as the party could be voted into power in the result of next election.
