LAHORE  - PML-Q senior central leader Ch Pervaiz Elahi has said that his party will always continue serving the people, irrespective of whether we are in the govt or in Opposition. He said people should take a decision on looking at our works.
Addressing a big election meeting in NA-104, Union Council Kot Nikka in Gujrat on Sunday, Ch Pervaiz Elahi said that cycle is a trust worthy vehicle used by the poor, how an animal can be trusted when he may attack anybody.
We had fulfilled our promise in the past and Inshallah we will honour our pledge in future also, he said.
Ch Pervaiz Elahi said Ch Zahoor Elahi Shaheed had peculiar relationship with the people of the area which we have inherited.
He said by stopping Motorway and Wazirabad Cardiology Hospital, PML-N has established that it has no interest in the problems of the people of Gujrat.
He said that Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif are infact responsible for energy crisis in Punjab who did not establish even a single power plant despite being permitted by the Federal Govt.
He said now they are misleading the people by stating that they were not allowed to set up power plants and wasted Rs 140 billion on fake schemes.
He said that our next govt we will first complete Gujrat-Sialkot-Lahore Motorway and establish two international universities. He said we had first made education free upto Matric and now provide free education upto BA.
He maintained that wheel of cycle is wheel of progress and when it rolls, the poor will get employment and price hike will also be decreased.
During tenure of Shahbaz Sharif price-hike, crime, lawlessness, poverty touched their peak. He said in fact the occupants of “Takht-e-Lahore” never wanted to end loadshedding in Punjab.
He further said that this time in the election we have given tickets to our sincere colleagues whom Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif would not be able to lure.
He said they had taken revenge of being in exile by making Punjab under heavy debt of Rs 500 billion.
Ch Wajahat Hussain said that his opponents are afraid of May 11 because they know they are going to be defeated and people would put stamp on cycle only on the election day.
He said that his opponents on seeing certain defeat are making false claims.
He has full faith in Almighty Allah who takes real decisions.
On this occasion, Ch Ziaullah Warraich, Ch Imran Warraich, Ehsanullah Warraich, Sajjad Malhi and Shahid Malhi were among those seated on the stage.
