CPSP makes six training courses mandatory

LAHORE: College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan has made six training courses mandatory for its supervisors and trainees. These courses are aimed at enhancing capability of supervisors.
Speaking at concluding ceremony of a training course, President CPSP Prof Zafar Ullah Chaudhry said that ATLS and BLS trained doctors were performing better and the demand of FCPS degree was also increasing in the world. The structured training system of CPSP nurtures the capabilities of young doctors. He said that due to e-log system the training process would be monitored in a better way. The launch of a new fellowship program would help providing specialist doctors in the country. Prof Khalid Masood Gondal, DGIR, CPSP, and Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz, Course Director also addressed the participants.–Staff Reporter
