LAHORE - Pakistan should not avoid even starting a nuclear war with India on the issue of the water, says Mian Asif, secretary information Punjab PML-Q (Like-Minded). He expressed these views while talking to newsmen after addressing a meeting of party leaders and workers at Like-Minded secretariat on Sunday. Mian Asif while blasting the government for not taking up the issue of water with India on strong footings said governments failure in this regard was against the vital national interest. He said PPP and PML-N were befooling the masses on various issues, however in secret both the parties were pursuing their personal agendas. Regarding the 17th amendment, he said PML-N chief only wanted elimination of third time bar for becoming premier and he was not interested in the supremacy of the Parliament.
