LAHORE – The Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) has recovered Rs75 million from Samanabad Division during a campaign against the defaulters.
The Lesco spokesman said that the recovery had been made from different government departments who had not paid the Company’s dues till the month of June. He further said that a team headed by Samanabad Division Additional SE (Operations) Anwar Qasim recovered the amount from subdivisions of Prem Nagar, Islampura, Samanabad, Ittehad Colony and Syed Pur.
According to the details, some Rs23 million were recovered from Civil Secretariat, Rs237, 600 from Government Printing Press, Rs349, 886 from Robert Club, Rs 167, 087 from Punjab Election Commissioner, Rs600, 670 from Building Department Director, Rs23 million from Samanabad Wasa, Rs1.8 million from Allama Iqbal Division and Rs2 million from IGP office.
Similarly, the team made recovery from Agriculture Department, Peoples’ House, Boys Hostels, Federal Ombudsman, MAO College, Lady Mclagan School, Fisheries Departmemt, Iqbal Town TMA, Punjab Highways, Samanabad TMA, Town Hall and office of senior civil judge.
