LAHORE - Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has ordered trial of the culprits, who killed a pregnant woman in front of the Lahore High Court, in an anti-terrorism court.
The chief minister issued instructions to the inspector general police to ensure maximum punishment to all the accused involved in this tragic incident and spare no effort in their prosecution. He warned no laxity would be tolerated in this regard.
The chief minister also ordered immediate arrest of the remaining accused and said that such brutal incidents were a matter of concern for every segment of the society. He held that this crime was not less than an act of terrorism and the death of a woman at the hands of her father and brothers reflected a highly violent attitude which should be curbed at all costs.
