All about CM’s trip to China

LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif will undertake an important visit to China in the first week of next month.
Sources in the government quarters confided to The Nation that the chief minister would meet high level government and official figures wherein various projects on energy, transport and other sectors of development in Pakistan would be finalised.
Sources say the matters relating to $34billion Chinese investment in different projects in Pakistan would also come under discussion during his meetings in addition to the due visit of the Chinese President to Pakistan, which was postponed last September due to security reasons. Apart from that, the chief minister will also discuss progress in Pakistan and China economic corridor with the Chinese dignitaries. Shahbaz Sharif is expected to leave for China on 6 or 7 November, which would be his 10th visit. The CM is on private visit to UK at present and is expected to back home this Friday.
