LAHORE: Imamia Student Organisation Pakistan (ISO) carried out a rally to express solidarity with the ‘victims of injustice and cruelty’ around the globe here in Sunday.
Hundreds of ISO activists marched from Nasir Bagh to Charring Cross on The Mall. They held placards while chanting slogans against injustice in different parts of the world including Palestine, Syria, Lebanon and Pakistan. The rally was led by ISO president Athar Imran.
Addressing the participants, speakers promised support and expressed solidarity with victims of injustice and cruelty. They said that ISO would stand along with victims irrespective of religion, nationality or race. Athar Imran said US intervention into the eternal Muslim is causing conflicts and division in the Muslims. He criticised US’s aggressive moves against Syria and showed support to Bashr al Assad. He questioned Saudi Arabia’s role in the politics of Middle East and urged Saudi rulers to disengage from US alliance. They also showed solidarity with victims of twin blasts in Peshawer Charuch.–Staff Reporter
