LAHORE: Punjab University Law College teacher Khujista Rehan has alleged that Vice Chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran has been harassing her since 2008.
She presented a charge sheet to media on Sunday saying that, being from his group, I used to attend functions with the VC after he took charge. Once he passed on immoral remarks forcing me to avoid such events. My refusal made him stoop to launch fake inquiries against me as part of his trap, she added.
She said that she also moved to the provincial ombudswoman on July 30 over the issue, but to no avail. She also blamed the ombudswoman for siding with the VC.
Khujista also mentioned that the VC suspended university teachers including Dr Iftikhar Baloch and Dr Ahsan Akhtar Naz and a clerk Ilyas Moeen Bhatti when the inquiry against them over harassment was underway. 
Meanwhile, the PU Academic Staff Association demanded of the provincial ombudsperson to proceed against Khujista Rehan under contempt of court for making false propaganda against ombudsperson and PU VC. –Staff Reporter
