LAHORE Four members of a notorious gang have been arrested while the police have also recovered 15 mobile phones, cash and sophisticated weapons from them in Satukatla police limits on Sunday. The arrested accused were identified as ringleader Mohammad Irfan alias Fani and his accomplices Ali Hassan, Iqbal, Mohammad Javeed and Shakeel Ahmed. As per details, on the tip-off SHO Satukatla Javed Siddique along with a good number of police contingents chased the same robbers, who were fleeing after snatching a mobile phone from a local citizen namely Afzaal. According to modus operandi, the accused always used a rented bike in order to commit a crime bid. During preliminary investigations, the accused have also confessed of 25 crime acts committed in different police areas including Satukalta, Chung, Nawankot, Johar Town, Ichhra, Gulberg, Garden Town and Township. DIG Operations Rao Sardar has also announced cash awards and commendatory certificates for SHO Javed Siddique and his police team on showing good performance.
