LAHORE - Society of Surgeons of Pakistan President Prof Khalid Masood Gondal arranged a lunch in honour of the first female Vice President of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, says a press release.
Prof Azhar Hameed, acting Vice Chancellor of KEMU was the chief guest of the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Azhar Hameed appreciated the performance of Department of Surgery. Senior Vice President, Prof Rakhshanda Tayyab thanked Prof Khalid Masood Gondal on arranging the reception. Doctors should utilise their energy for the betterment of ailing humanity, she added.
Souvenirs were presented to the retiring professors of the department. Prof Mahmood Shaukat, Prof Muhammad Arshad Cheema, Prof Maaz Ahmad, Prof Javed Akram, Prof Mahmood Ayyaz, Prof Sultan Ashraf, Prof Tehseen Sahi, Prof Muhammad Amjad, Prof Laeeq Hussain, Prof Sadaqat Ali Khan, Prof Irshad Hussain Qureshi, Prof Tahira Murtaza Cheema, Prof Khawaja Muhammad Azeem, Prof Muhammad Ashraf, Prof Sameena Naeem, Prof Qazi Muhammad Saeed, Prof Aftab Asif, Prof Muhammad Arshad Chohan, Prof Khalid Aziz and all members academic council of KEMU also participated.
