LAHORE - JUP Punjab chapter on Sunday demanded of the government not to sign a trade pact with India till the time Kashmir issue is resolved and India stops stealing our water.JUP provincial leaders, Pir Ijaz Hashmi, Qari Zawar Bahadur, Professor Javed Awan, Ahmed Yar Qadri and Dr Javed Akhtar made this demand during a meeting held to celebrate party’s 66th Foundation Day. Through another demand, JUP leaders have said that the incumbent system of governance has failed to solve the problems of the country and Nizam-e-Mustafa should be launched. They also demanded of the rulers to immediately bring down the prices of daily use items after the decrease in the value of the US dollar. They warned the international powers to stop sponsoring the Qadiyani plans in Pakistan, as people of Pakistan would give a befitting reply to their conspiracies. Through a resolution, JUP leaders condemning the attacks on the shrines of Sahaba Ikram in Syria demanded of the international bodies to ensure the protection of these places. They strongly criticised the silence of the Muslim rulers across the globe over the attacks on the shrines of Sahaba Ikram and demanded to play their proactive role.This news was published in The Nation newspaper.
