Six girl schools closed in Bajwat

SIALKOT - Six government girls primary schools in Bajwats far off villages including Papeen, Jog, Khanu Bhau, Beli Minhasaan, Bheince and Ghazipura have been lying closed for about decades due to the lack of teachers. The survey conducted by this reporter said that the buildings of these schools were also being ruined, as it had been made cattle sheds due to the slackness of the local politicians and education department officials. These schools were established by the then Prime Minister Muhammad Khan Jonejos regime and since then, they remained the victim, the report added. The report said that education departments officials also did not pay heed due to which local girl students had to go far away for getting education. When contacted the officials concerned of Sialkot Education Department averted to give any comment in this regard.
