LAHORE - A court Friday granted bail to a five-year-old booked for thrashing and teasing girl and her mother. On May 29, the Factory Area police arrested Ali Hassan, his father Abdul Hameed, brothers Shazad Ahmad and Shahbaz after registering the case.
The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Naveed Ahmad also granted interim bail to his father and brothers.  It is a second case in three months that a minor has been falsely implicated mainly due to poor investigation by the police.  As the hearing started, police produced the detainees to the court and made a request for granting physical remand.
However, the counsel for arrested told the court that their clients were being implicated in the fake case. Hassan Shahzad got registered the case with the police concerned under sections 354 and 427 which deal with eve teasing and thrashing.
