LAHORE - Punjab University has awarded PhD degrees to the following students after approval of their theses. Asma Abdul Latif D/o Abdul Latif in the subject of Zoology after approval of her research thesis entitled Genotyping of Echinococcus Granulosus in Punjab, Zeba Zaka-ur-Rehman D/o Mian Zaka-ur-Rehman in the subject of Pharmacy after approval of her research thesis entitled Clinical Evaluation and Monitoring of Adverse Effects for Fixed Multidose Combination again-st Single Drug Therapy in Pulmonary Tuberculosis Patients, Shahbaz Ali S/o Mathaila in the subject of Molecular Biology after approval of his research thesis entitled Sear-ch for a New Locus Involved in Retinitis Pigmentosa, Muhammad Iqbal S/o Ghulam Farid in the subject of Molecular Biology after approval of his research thesis entitled Molecular Basis of Inherited Opthalmological, Samia Raheel D/o Qazi Hussain Ahmad in the subject of Islamic Studies after approval of her research thesis entitled Family System in Islam and Contemporary Challenges. and Munir Ahmad S/o Bashir Ahmad in the subject of Molecular Biology after approval of his thesis entitled Mapping of a New Syndromic Deafness Locus. They have completed their theses under the supervision of Prof Dr Tanveer Akhtar of PU Zoology Deptt, Prof Dr M Jamshaid, former Principal PU College of Pharmacy, Prof Dr Sheikh Riazuddin of PU CEMB, Prof Dr Shaheen N Khan of PU CEMB, Prof Dr Shabbir Ahmad Mansoor Chairman PU Islamic Studies Dept and Prof Dr Zubair M Ahmed of PU CEMB.
