Traffic wardens - Public fights.

Use of physical force between traffic wardens and the public has been on the rise in our country. Such media reports cast a negative image of our society abroad. The relevant police authorities should ascertain the causes of such incidents. One major cause is the traffic wardens’ inability to handle the public. They need to be polite. When a police constable stops you abroad, for a violation; he approaches you by addressing you as ‘sir’. This immediately cools off the mood of the traffic violator and subsequent conversation between the two proceeds smoothly. Our Wardens are not trained to behave in such a manner.
Then the public also is to be blamed. A trend of violent behaviour is developing in the younger generation. From a fruit seller to a clerk in the office, our behaviour has become aggressive. This needs to be addressed on a national level. Politeness is what our younger generation lacks.
