Recent murder of a litigant by his rival, in session court Gujranwala premises has terrified people, especially lawyers and judges. An armed murderer entered the building and fired at his opponent in broad daylight. Due to bad security arrangement such incident are increasing but no steps have been taken by the Government to stop this bloodshed. If said killings are not prevented people would lose confidence in courts. Lawyers and judges would not be able discharge their duty. The government needs to format a security policy in collaboration with legal community to deal with this lawlessness.
