The Cultural Department of the Sindh government, through its endowment fund is helping numerous artists and writers who are old and need financial help. Nonetheless, the department pays only one portion of the treatment. As per report, the department has distributed a large amount among needy artists since April 2010. This is a good gesture on behalf of the cultural department and I hope they would continue to serve our valuable artists and writers who really need this kind of help in old age.
